Lightweight Cladding, Polystyrene and Foamular Styrofoam
Polystyrene has been used in Europe and America for decades. We recommend polymer modified render which is trowelled on 4-6mms thick with a fibreglass mesh floated into the surface of the render.
To avoid the possibility of cracking we recommend an additional 1mm flexible texture coating and a final membrane paint on top. This gives the most flexible and durable finish.
For Foamular an initial primer or keycoat is recommended.
