Pre Painted Surfaces
The first step is to ensure the existing paint is adhered soundly to the wall. If the existing paint is sound, clean wall thoroughly before applying an initial primer or keycoat followed by an acrylic render or texture.
If the existing paint is not adhered sufficiently to the wall, the existing paint must be removed prior to rendering or texturing.
