Polystyrene Mouldings - RECOMENDED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cut mouldings to desired length     (allowing for expansion joints if required) using power drop saw or fine     toothed hand saw (hack saw).
  1. clip_image002Apply EnerFoam or adhesive (suitable for     polystyrene) liberally to back of mould. Then firmly apply mould to     building surface. Remove, allow glue to become tacky (touch dry). Firmly     reapply to surface. * note – mechanical fixing may be required for larger moulds.
  2. IMPORTANT

Seal between moulding and building surface with a quality water based outdoor “no more gaps” (eg. Sikaflex Pro 2HP or Bostik “Seal n Flex”)

Construction joints must be installed where they already exist on the buildings or where deemed necessary. Larger Sized Moulds should be mechanically fixed in conjunction with glues. Patch joints with Rockcote, Finecote or Polymer Render. The moulds are now ready for texture or paint finish to be applied.

*** Moulds and features are Water Resistant but not Water Proof***

***The product must be sealed with at least a Membrane paint.***

***Remember – if in doubt about glues etc, test on raw foam first !***
